Howdy neighbors. We need to establish base camp code named green chilli central. The hot springs at Jemez is a neat spot. At least in the Jemez there is fishing, hunting and fresh water. Another easy to find spot is Fenton lake. We need to list our skills and equipment so we know where our strengths and weakness are. We should at least meet for a picnic when it warms up. My skills are: leadership, weapons and small unit tactics, also R/T medical and combat experience. We also need a good equipment check: tents, sleeping bags other camping gear. Note: don't list high value items such as firearms, gold reserves, etc. Just keep it to common stuff like fishing tackle, woodworking/construction tools, etc. Needed skills are carpenters, mechanics, musicians, teachers (you ain't getting out of school just cause the world ended), cooks, medics, heavy equipment operators, metal workers, etc. The more trucks the better, I have 1. Generators would be nice too if you have one.. For those of you with little or no firearms skills, training is available if you are 18 or older. Till then, you can learn bows, cross bows, and pellet guns. Modern pellet guns are powerful enough for light game hunting. MMMMM roasted coyote with a goatshead glaze, yummy. Just cause it's the end of the world, doesn't mean we can't have fun. Email me if you wish: carmon_on_guns@hotmail.com Remember, if you are under 18 you need parents permission before hunting zombies, unless your parents are already zombies.

rio doso is close to a ghost town i have a big ranch with about (15? maybe 20?) acres of property there. zombie threat is low and you can see for miles pretty much everyday. so kids.....if you're out in new mexico rio doso if probably a good option.

a slightly warmer area would be preferable, however there is no where else within several hundred miles with all this and warm weather so it's good. skills: marksmanship (not wonderful, but I know my way around guns and how to shoot them), first aid, some carpentry, very basic mechanical skills, and cooking. supplies: surgical tools, camping equipment, carpentry tools, fishing supplies, reloading equipment.
