just an idea but if you are set up in a town with a train station trains could be used as a scouting vehicle because of the high platform or used as a mobile outpost if fortified enough Do you find this valuable?

They're too loud. I live about a mile from a train yard and I can still hear them at night. Do you find this valuable?

So aside from being on a fixed track, you'll have to build up to see any where decent which just makes a bigger target, not to mention if you go through a tunnel...
It's a bad idea as spiderboenz said, period. Do you find this valuable?
