Suggestion

I say put abbreviations and other words that more directly refer to zombies. Keep the current list but add things like 'crawlers' (zombie that is unable to walk and instead drags itself on ground). Search around if you have to and take your time, but a more direct zombie list of terms would be useful for those who know little. Do you find this valuable?

"Crawler" is pretty self explanatory. Do you find this valuable?

It was just an example that was on the top of my head. The idea is that say Z-Day happens and that while the Internet still works (mostly during The Panic) sites like this will be flooded with people who would have thought the idea was crazy. They will definetly need this information and some will be stupid enough not to understand crawler. Do you find this valuable?

Subjective: If the zombies were mutations, and some had two limbs instead of four, wouldn't they be deemed Crawlers? 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

"Then they don't deserve to live."
Think about it. If some average person after The Panic readies themselves uses information from sites like this, then any zombie they kill or hold off will be one less trying to kill you. So logically you want their to be many survivors in that sense at least. I got the idea from a Zombie Survival bookbut I don't remember the title or author. The book had large amounts of good information though.

Yes I guess that type would be deemed a Crawler. Of course this list is not able to effectively name every possible type of zombie possible since that would take years to even think of. It should give the title for at least the more common zombie types when possible.

ZSG = Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (MB)
WWZ = World War Z, same author. Go buy it, read it.

The Zombie Archetype Builder (search bar is the top right hand corner) tries to list all the traits.

I read the one with personal stories in it. I think that is WWZ but I am not sure. I read it once last year and remember some of it still. In the event of Z-pocalypse, I will attempt to get it from a library or book store. Not goingto intentionally risk my life over it though of course.

Never got a hard copy of ZSG but I've been listening to audio recording on Youtube it has almost the whole book recorded. Most I already knew but I did learn a few things and took 4 1/2 pages of notes on the first half so far. I only disagree on his view of body armor so far, its clear he doesn't approve of body armor at all. I say it should be used in some cases, mostly light full body suits. They don't have to be the strongest just enough to deal with a human strength bite and scratches. Yes dehydration and exhaustion can still be an issue, but training and exercise can deal with exhaustion. I know people who can run miles and barely sweat at all. Plus some areas have more than enough water to work with, my own being an example. Central Florida, purifying water is my only concern in that area.

Your forgetting the Recker plan (spelling unsure) but I do remember that from WWZ. He had the idea of supplying survivor communities as much as possible, "Every Zed besieging them is one less for the military to fight" (paraphrased as now I read it almost 1 1/2 year ago). I think the specific example was a college being defended by the ROTC unit, either that or the Western US in general.
