Has anyone heard about the game Dead Island? It's been in production for 4 years, and it looks like it's going to be very good. Any thoughts?

I'm actually storing up ideas on a Z-Game that I want to make, haha. t probably will never happen though. Do you find this valuable?

I've been wrong before, but I would be shocked if this game is actually ever released.

It's been in development too long and the available information is increadibly limited to the point one can't help but wonder how much of it is even done. Do you find this valuable?

Oh my gosh! Dead Island comes out in like, two months! =^___^= Its set to release on August 1st with a preorder option and everything, this game looks great! =^_^=

You get to play as a random person (though the two characters released so far don't seem interesting... at all...) caught in the middle of an outbreak while on vacation. Isn't that great! =^_^= So instead of having much access to guns, the game focuses heavily on...

MELEE!!! =^___^=

Its a melee version of Left 4 Dead basically, its like they were watching my posts about zombies in order to get info about what gamers want in zombie games. Average Joe vs. the zombies... =^_^= Do you find this valuable?

Ill have to wait and see I was stoked about L4d2 but that ended up being a disapointment for me. So I'll wait and see. Do you find this valuable?

Got it the day it came out. It's nothing like what the trailer depicted, and it's a bit rough around the edges, but it's still a great game in its own right. I think that the best comparison would probably be with Fallout 3 rather than Dead Rising or Left 4 Dead. Do you find this valuable?

Too bad. It sounds like it will be no better than Fallout New Vegas with a ZPAW mod loaded.

If you get it, try out the analog controls with a two handed weapon, that's the only thing that makes it better than Fallout. =^_^= Do you find this valuable?

Unfortunately it's glitchy, has a horrible save system, no real plotline or characters worth noting, but it is addicting. Frag-12 was pretty spot on. FO style leveling and exploring, albeit it's easier to die and there's more running in the compacted setting. I would say it's still distinctly survival horror though. Do you find this valuable?
