Make a survival plan, these are just a few suggestions on what you should try to do. Look at others survival plans to get a foundation off of which you should build yours.

( I.E: what is your current location like . where is it located, can you defend it, do you have a BOL ( bug out location ) picked if you cant survive where you are. how can you get there. ) the list goes on. if you put a basic plan together we will point out the flaws as we see them to help you make it better . But we cant really do it for you. Do you find this valuable? |

Tell us EVERYTHING. If we can't read it, we can't know it. So if you are 16 this will have a different impact on the advice than if you are 24. If you are in California there will be different ideas than if you are in New York.So every detail, no matter how trivial it seems, will be important. Do you find this valuable? |

Hmm...off the top of my head, I would like to ask what boarding up your house will entail. How well built is your house, for instance, and are the walls sturdy? What about boarding it up, what will you be doing exactly? keep in mind that it will need to be well fortified against raiders as well as zombies.As far as the 2 stores nearby, the panic may factor into that, so exactly how far away are the stores. are we talking 50 feet in front, or 500? on another note, why do you have that many different types of ammo despite only having 2 weapons in your BOB. as far as the cops go, do you expect that you will randomly find dead cops on your route which still have their guns and baton, especially considering they most likely will end up having the highest percent of uninfected in the town. as far As your bug out location, you should have an established location to fall back to. What type of baton is in your BOB, as "baton" is rather vague. What is the baton made of? I see a lot on weapons and barricades, and i will admit your BOB is fairly good, but what about food for the long term? lastly, why do you need the second shot to kill a zed? Do you find this valuable? |

Well,just to add some points:-Witch knife is that?Smooth edge is very vague also.Kichten knifes have smooth edges,and I doubt that they are well suited for combat(but could be used for some last ditch,I suppose). -.50 BMG and 12.7x99mm are the same round,so it's pretty much impossible to fit THAT into a handgun. -How are your friends supposed to get in,since you'll barricade it all,as you said? -Have you already tested these leather clothes?I once tried to wear some leather pants and that was so tight that after 10 min. my legs gone numb. -How are you supposed to "grab some stuff" from the police station?I don't think they'll be happy to lend (whatever you want to pick) for one most likelly random citzen,while they could use that stuff to try to stop the trheat. -What if's:What if someone gets wounded and the wound get infected by anything(any kind of infection is dangerous in this situation)?Or if raiders attack?Or if you need to bug out.Where to? Look,I can't say my plan is much greater than yours(I'll only publish it when I "feel" satisfied),but these are some of the holes I've seen.I believe that you only read the Zombie Survival Guide,right?Most here will confirm that the ZSG isn't some holy perfect book,but it's good enough to get you hooked.My suggestion:Search other user's survival plans.They'll help you to enhance yours.
