I've had one of these for a little under 10 years now. Still works great. For a shake and shoot flashlight, $30.00 isn't too bad.

I've busted the bladder on all four that I've owned within just a few months of getting them. And they were real one's, not knockoffs. I'm just not a camelback guy because of that.

Huh. I've had mine for 6 months and it works great. The gal that gave it to me has had hers for years with no problems. Luck of the draw, I guess...

I dig the Tauntaun sleeping bag, essential piece of gear no doubt. I actually kinda wish I could rationalize buying one now...

It tastes more like bacon than most MRE meals taste like the meals they were designed to be.

I would be pretty pumped if they made a MRE BLT though. Love me them bacon sammiches.

I found two interesting little items in my internet meanderings.

The first is a rather unusual concept for a sort of "tent" or emergency survival shelter.

http://www.clusterflock.org/2008/05/two-articles-on-design-and-the-outdoors.html

The second is Gerber's new folding axe. I want one of these things.

I know the FSR sandwiches are sold separately now, if that's what you're looking for.
