I've received a few PM's recently about the old "Mosin-Nagant Sniper Project" article, which was removed from the site back when WetPaint decided to be a "content Nazi" and take ownership like license over community and individual contributions. While WP's activity in the past still irritates me, I've received many requests to post this content back on the site and have decided to repost it for everyone's viewing pleasure.

(Please note that this is in no way, shape, or form, an admission that I believe WP should be allowed to take "ownership-like" rights over content contributed to wiki sites by honest writers and hobbyists. In fact, I think they should burn for it.) Do you find this valuable?

Actually... you're right. I'm going to play with my camera some and see if I can figure out why I'm not getting audio to come through when I record. I have a feeling it's a software problem on my computer's end. If I can get things ironed out with that, video will be coming VERY soon. Do you find this valuable?

You can set it up like one of those instructional videos from the 60s. Just point at stuff for the video, and your audio can be a voiceover. Do you find this valuable?

I wish I'd have read this before rattle canning the stock I plan on using for this build... Oh well, I took a few pictures of it. Truth be told, while I'm satisfied with the way that the stock came out (I'll post a pic) I think I can do a better job....

Honestly, I'm only about 60% satisfied with the appearance. While it's serviceable, it's not perfect. Do you find this valuable?
