UPDATE FROM MAIN THREAD"Here's half of the weapons we picked up along the way as rent for our stay. We're unfamiliar with all of them so we're perfectly happy to hand them over." List: - 4 SKS rifles, various patterns (31 rounds of 7.62x39mm) - 3 12 Gauge shotguns, various types (26 shells) - 5 revolvers, various types, a couple of rounds each. - 1 Makarov PM pistol, no ammunition As for the militia, we'll sign up for when we're around: Name: Steven (Ste) Primary: H&K USP 9mm (Until I can get some damn 5.56) Secondary: Hurley/baseball bat/knife Three more people armed pretty much the same way with me. So now that we have some people's names and gear, how do we decide who will be officers? I am a decent scout, but don't have even close to enough combat experience to be able to command men in a battle. I would love to learn, but I wouldn't want to be responsible for the town's military to be FUBAR due to my lack of experience. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Primary: Ithaca 37 5-shot cap. in 20 guage (i need more ammo though) Secondary:Coldsteel bowie knive (i dont have nor know how to use a pistol) Melee: fire axe other: self igniting molotov cocktails i have a "combat trauma kit" and could be a medic (i have first aid training) Do you find this valuable? |

Name: JohnGear: -Concealable level IIIA vest w/trauma plates -Musette pack -Y suspenders and web gear set -KABAR knife -Survival kit + construction kit (550 cord, snare wire, hand drills, etc.) -Smoke grenades, flares Weapons: -M79 My primary, bit beat up but very serviceable. I have thirty rounds and components for more. The raw power is useful, but by far the best aspect is the flexibility that specialty ammo such as smoke rounds and flares provide. -M37 HD (8 shot) A full size shotgun with a folding stock and a light mounted to the forearm. I keep it in the saddle. It's not always available as others use it at times. -Sig 556 A full size rifle with an ACOG sight and a light mounted under the forearm. I keep it in the saddle, but I might occasionally carry it alongside the M79. -.50 GI A 1911 pistol chambered in .50 G.I. Conversion kit available for .45 ACP. I keep it in a kydex hip holster. -Ruger SP101 Just my backup piece, kept on a shoulder holster. -Glock 17 I normally carry this in case I have to arm someone, and because it's components are common. It is generally stashed in my pack. Skills: -Weapons handling -Leadership and combat tactics -Explosives usage -Medical treatment -Navigating and scouting Do you find this valuable? |
