"But ink on paper isn't colorfast. If the paper gets wet the ink will run or smear. Wouldn't the printing smear off of these transparencies as well?"In highschool, teachers would use these and write directly on the printed transparency with Vis-a-Vis markers, and then wipe it off with a diluted alcohol/water spray. The printed ink never smeared. Its where I got the idea LOL Must be something with the high temp inkjet printer and the plastic sheet. (EDIT: Damn, this makes me feel old, kids in highschool these days have digital projectors LOL!) Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah i've worked quite abit with the transparencies and they will definately mess up on you with moisture and or rubbing.Save yourself the trouble and just do the google maps pic, have it printed at staples and have them laminate it for you. Its really not all that expensive plus you wont need to lay it over a background to see detail like you would with a Mylar transparency print. Do you find this valuable? |
