i agree. one of the main problems that people think is "we have no guns" when we do. to be honest its not that hard to get a liscence, most people arent bothered with paperwork and yes to do have an age restriction but what 14 year old is going to survive coping with the trauma of shooting zombies.anyway this has nothing to do with rves so sorry. when i first joined i saw lots of people wanted to go to cumbria. its quite a good idea as you have woodlands lakes and a low population compared to other regions. Out of the UK.Dense population centres, linked by tunnel with Europe (nice long tubes for zombies to shamble/run through) and the weather is...well changeable is underselling it a bit. Just work out how to Bug Out. Do you find this valuable? |

zombies wont be able to get into the channel tunnel, ive been through many times by train/ shuttle as i,m french, there a lot to get through, but as everone will be trying to escape theyll be many people there and could mean many zombies.we need to pinpoint areas too and be more specific. i will try to make a map of locations i know of and that people have said on this site Do you find this valuable? |

British people, such as myself, will be able to survive here quite easily, I myself have once walked about a mile in the pouring rain. And it didn't bother me. And as for cumbria, won't it be harder to get a gun license there? After the killing spree a lot of people will consider it dogma. I live in Manchester and there is what appears to be a gun shop close to where I live. I had a look in once and I saw what was definitely a gun. I think it was a machine gun of some kind and it reminded me of an AK.

also try and get familiar with locations of guns like friends that have them that might leave them at home when there is the panic(unlikely), or gun shops, shooting clubs that sort of thing. I have an army cadets nearby which i used to go to.They have a few lee enflield 22 caliber bolt action rifles and about 9 SA80s, and that cadet force was the county stores so they have all the ammo too. they could be used as BOLs as they are quite heavily defended as its actuall MOD property e.g bars on windows. heavy locks. most also have storage rooms where they keep field equipment like bashas ( a type of tent) and that sort of stuff 1 out of 1 found this valuable. ive also been getting famoliar with my location. e.g location of pharmacys, construction sites, forests, alotments, camping shops etc.a really good way to barricade your homes is by using doors and garge doors of other poeple houses but you cant really do that until the panic 1 out of 1 found this valuable. there is a ta barracks 15mins walk through the back streets from where i live i might head there before heading north also ive read somewhere that if it happens barracked your home and wait a few days till the panic outside is over then make a move because the zeds would have started moving out of the city to where the food is ie m60 ring road what do you think

thats a good idea, depending on your age it might be hard to persuade the ta soldiers to let you stay with them, even though some will be fighting

Actually, the M60 (and to a lesser extent the inner ring road) would be where the government would set up quarantine lines. Naturally defendable, for the most part elevated positions that clearly delineate inside and outside.Bugging In within these places is not a highly desirable position. Do you find this valuable? |

I too Live In Britain, and There is a cadet place somewhere and according to my friend a gun range around the place (I got pretty excited when I heard that) although it Might be in the next town or so, I wouldn't mind a few miles walk, with the occasional diving-into-a-bush-because-I-just-saw-a-zed.I might just head to manchester and walk around the back streets until I find a gun, because I will find a gun. I live in Bolton Btw Do you find this valuable? |

i have another idea for collecting rain water - using wheely bins - think about it. they are large, more movable than water butts.you could even use them as barricading material. Will them with junk and stack them. Sideways is best because they wont move around as much because the wheels arent rolling but you should fasten the lid as it could open and junk may start to tip out 1 out of 1 found this valuable. i like the wheelie bin idea if you make a barrier have them side ways and locked together.fill with rubble take the lids off and they will fill with water to when it rains that will make them very heavy then you can make some sort of shield with the lids just an idea

Good Idea, Make a map using google maps Thanks for the idea! Honestly I don't know how to ride a horse, but like 30mins walk from my house there are a few farms and some have horses, and horses are useful in someway, maybe because the only fuel is hay and water, and hay doesn't have a use by date right?

yeah but they need to eat more than hay i think. they need other nutrients but there should be a lot of horse food at the farm thing anyway
