Jun 29 2010, 8:03 PM EDT | Post edited: Jun 29 2010, 8:03 PM EDT

Are they slow or fast zombies?

If they're slow, break down the brick wall as fast as possible and run like hell. Otherwise, I could eat my partner and still end up starving to death after I'm out of him.

If they're fast, suicide. No way I'll be escaping that easily.

You don't know if they are fast or slow zombies. You can't see them. Do you find this valuable?

D: Other.

Due to the fact that I am planning for fast Zeds, make a small hole in one side of the house, small enough to fit a can of food through.

Then, use something to attract the Zeds to that side of the house, say a can of SPAM*, warmed up, soaked in blood, if needs be. Post it through the hole, and whilst all the Zeds are round the front, distracted, make your escape.

Hide during the period that the Zeds will use to discover the distraction for what it was, and enter the house via your exit hole. Then, run like buggery. Take the uneaten provisions with you, and use them whilst scavenging for food/shelter/survivors/unicorns.

*It doesn't even need to be meat, it could be as simple as a can with a rock in it, on a string, that can be shaken to make noise. Anything that will create a distraction.

Find a way up to the roof.

Open the door.

Once most of them are inside, jump off the roof (this is a ranch house) and make for the treeline.

If the situation permits, close the door and lock them in on my way out.

D. Other.
Just like FracturedCell, I would lure the zombies to one side of my house. Then, I would load up all my equipment in my car (the car is already blocking the entrance/exit to my backyard). Then, I run for the hills and go down south to meet up with some family members.

Of course, by this time, there might be many obstacles on the roads. Then I will have to miserably bike to my destination.

No. I refuse to answer to this because if I am in a ranch with only a single person, bricked windows, a double barrel and a b-ball bat ONLY, I'm out of food, AND zozmbies are surrounding me, I have failed and deserve to die. Though I would probably soak the house in gas, open the door, and when the zeds come in, I'd shoot one shot. *KABOOMAH*

Anyway... I would probably go out the second floor while my expendable buddy makes a diversion and get the hell out of the area, trying to find a group to take me in.

Meh, here's my plan.

Like others have said, lure the zombies to one side of the house.
Probably be re-enacting the boomstick scene from AOD (hey, I've got a DB, and I could die. Why not?)

Once I get them lured, run to the other side (with my buddy in tow,) jump down, and run like hell.

My house has a walkway to our next door neighbors house a few streets away from a war long ago under the back deck underground. They wouln't be able to catch me and I'd get away safley & fast. The tunnel goes for about 40 metres and is very solid. I'd still have all my guns on me. Id be wearing black jeans, soccer shin guards, thick leather gloves, beanies. helmet, 3 shirts, and black combat/hiking boots just incase they could find the tunnel and dig through. It would take ages but then my cover would be blowb and I'd have to find a new place to hide. Do you find this valuable?

I live in a ranch house, and the tiles (like most houses in the US) are fiberglass-based asphalt. It kinda hurts if it whacks you on the head, but it's hard to even draw blood with them. They're very flexible.

OK, the problem to solve is few supplies and many zombies. So try to reduce Z, example;
produce a head sized hole (chest high) in your barricade, with plenty of swinging room. Wait for zombie to put head through, smash to pulp, poke hole clear and repeat!
I can't imagine what fiberglass-based asphalt is like and I've done many roofs (Europe)

D.

Go to the roof and start shooting zombies with the shotgun, maybe cut down the barrel a bit, once i run out of ammo take the bat and try to finish off whats left of the zombies.

if there are still lots of zombies then eat whats left of the food ang go last stand with the bat the shotty (as melee) and whatever i can find
