The box is an old tackle box, good size, three levels of shelves and a deep bottom. It has a handle on the top it travels easily and we can just grab it and put it in the car for trips, or run it out side if a child has fallen and your not ready, or able, to move them. The most important thing is it is a grab and go. Very important if Zombies attackInside are. . . Acetaminophen/aspirin/ibuprofen for fever, headache, minor pain Antacid/Imodium For stomach upset Adhesive tape and bandages for minor wounds Hydrogen peroxide for cleansing wounds Sodium bicarbonate/hydrocortisone for soaking and soothing of rashes Syrup of ipecac to induce vomiting Face mask for sick or coughing person Sunblock really you need to know how to use this??? Neosporin/alcohol/iodine antiseptic for cuts Eye drops for eye irritation Antifungal cream for fungus Moleskin for blisters The box also has cold and allergy tablets and several medicines for my dog as well as. . . rubber bands, to help in making a splint trash bag, for clean up, covering casts if it is raining, and about 100 other uses duct tape (3 feet) wrapped around a pen, duct tape can be used to close wounds, it’s really good on foot wounds, the pen is used for writing (duh) and in a real emergency it can write on paper or skin to let others know what drugs a person has had, the tube can be used to make a clear airway, and well you may need to write something down scissors, knife to cut tweezers, to remove small items from wounds (glass, pebbles) small bar of Antibacterial soap and a wash cloth, ziplock bag to keep them clean and clean up after use instructions on the use and dosage of the medicine, instructions on CPR, Heimlich maneuver, the poison control number, and how to make a splint. Do you find this valuable?

You should also add gauze. Also, are you certified in CPR? An instruction booklet can't really be a substitute for actual firsthand instruction. A bandanna is also good. Add Trauma pads in there too. Also, a CPR respirator is a good addition (most CPR classes hand them out. If your class doesn't hand them out, they are cheep on Amazon.com). EDIT: Also, getting first hand instruction can help you fix bad habbits. The instructor will notice if your form is a little off. Do you find this valuable? |

With my kit I have like, 6 tubes of polysporin and two other kinds of antibiotic ointment. Don't wanna die over somthing simple like a finger getting an infection.Lots of gauze, lots of wrapings. Don't forget splints and braces. I keep an ankle brace (good for left or right) knee brace (left or right) and an arm splint. Toothache ointment (clove oil). Snake bite kit lots of different bandaids real stitching not just hydrogen pyroxide, but lots of anticeptics in general. Creams for burns, Insect bites. Lip balm allergy meds. Lots of claritin, cough losenges, buckleys. put it this way. My bug out bag smells like a hospital. I just need syringes and penacillen. Do you find this valuable? |
