You know I always thought myself to be a sorta bridge. Not being grounded to the sorta ideology that goes along with each encampment instead taking it issue for issue. On the side of the aisle I most resign there are plenty of stupid people and stupid ideas for sure but it would seem from my viewpoint the other side of the aisle is where scare tactics rule and ignorance guides the sheeple of society down a dangerous path. Right or left scare tactics aren't the right way to guide people 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Oh MD. Such a black and white view is exactly why I posted the compass. It's a three-dimensional grayspace, not an "us against them" battle. No calling those of us on the economic left and social anti-authoritarian side hippies. There's six Mods on that side, and everyone has already been warned to play nice in this thread. :) Do you find this valuable? |

We'll call the lefties hippies and they can call us (wrongly at least in America) warmongers :) I am after all a natural-born instigator. VK: It's odd that I feel the same way toward your end. But then they blindly follow a political figure. :P /political sh.it Hey Pedro I do believe the test has proven that not all survivalists are far-right though :) Do you find this valuable? |

As I said to Pedro, this test is actually the worst one I've seen. It's questions aren't relevent enough to determine actual opinion and the way questions are answered means that you can't be moderate or undecided on issues.. Do you find this valuable? |

Agreed Irish and some were just odd."Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races." What side of politics does racism fall on? "All people have their rights, but it is better for all of us that different sorts of people should keep to their own kind." SSDW. "What goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults is no business of the state." In America this is usually a talking point in which I agree with the words but not the idea of what it means to them. Do you find this valuable? |

""What goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults is no business of the state.""Not to mention this question is a poor attempt to merge issues together, meaning you can't actually express a more complicated opinion on the matter. You may agree that homosexuality shouldn't be a criminal offence for instance, but you may also believe that homosexuals shouldn't be given the same benefits in terms of tax credits etc. The issues are far more complicated than the questions allow. "Actually Maricely it means that if we ever meet and actually have physical contact, the universe would implode. Pedro: if you bothered to read the subtle subject line you'd see that I am being tongue in cheek here EDIT: I forgot to mention to Pedro that you FAIL @ geometry: there is no 'Z' axis so how in the hell is this graph supposed to be a 'three-dimensional' anything? I thought several questions didn't allow for an answer that wasn't available (like 'N/A' or "I don't care") and therefore a little skewed. Still, it may be accurate enough. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

"For example one can agree that what people do in the privacy of their own homes is no ones business (provided no laws are being broken) but if one pulls it into the public arena can you call it private still?Yes, but homosexuality is a private matter just as heterosexuality is. Being heterosexual has certain obvious benefits over being homosexual in terms of the state. The state must act equally and fairly to both in my opinion, as both are a matter of private persuasion more than anything else. Do you find this valuable? |
