Shatterproof is laminated as you say, but it isn't made to break into small pieces. It will still break into dangerous shards. They are just stuck to the laminate.

Tempered glass is the type that will break into small, "round blocks", and is the type used in phone boxes and bus shelters.

Tempered laminated glass is a combination of the two. The blocks are all going to stay stuck to the sheet, and it falls out of the pane. It's called the "wet blanket" effect.

Bulletproof (bullet-resistant) glass is simply Tempered, laminated glass, but instead of two glass sheets and one plastic, there are seven or eight layers of each, sandwiched together."
