Personal Project - Zombie Survival Guide

Why hello there. How are you this fine day?

I have worked for a few days on this as-yet-incomplete Zombie Survival Guide. Not only will it chart weapons, tools, defense stratagies, leadership skills, etc. important for a "Z-Day" scenario (a term that I may be using too loosely, haha!), but it will also have factual survival notes.

However, I have no survival experience. I haven't even got around to reading the SAS survival manual (yet).

That's why I am humbly asking the experienced people of the ZSDW for help writing this guide. If you have a sugguestion or would like to add anything, please post here and tell me.

Please do note that the guide is in a rough format (due to Wetpaint not liking direct copy/paste items from MS word much) and is still incomplete.

Has anyone suggested doing a comprehensive community survival guide and getting it published? Seems like we have PLENTY of good info on this site that goes relatively unseen a lot. I find it difficult to browse through the pages due to WP's setup, so there are a LOT of articles I havent read. Do you find this valuable?

I think a few have done personal projects like I have, but nobody has thought of a community one I think.

IMHO it would devolve to a flame war after a bit, with people posting incorrect info and being pissed that someone changed it, or just plain vandals. Do you find this valuable?

and thats why we'd probably have some of the veterans around here doing most the actual writing so as not to have the MN's and trolls contaminate the project with the rest doing research on specific topics. Do you find this valuable?

We have a whole section called "The Survival Guide". There are hundreds of pages in there. Each one needs a little work.

Instead of putting all information on one page, and writing yet ANOTHER xxxxx's Survival Guide, collaborate on the one on the site. Do you find this valuable?

As I said, it's a personal project, Pedro. I had it in MS Word before putting it here. Do you find this valuable?
