Operation Red Devil
Jul 14 2010, 3:06 AM EDT
I am continually making plans based on different scenarios and situations. This is my first published plan. This plan is the first and (Possibly) easiest plan.Scenario: I am in Colorado, and my siblings are at mom's house for the week. I am at dad's. Dad has become a zombie. Status of siblings and mom is unknown. Step 1: I close and barricade my bedroom door. Step 2: I make noise to draw dad to bedroom. Step 3: While he is distracted, I Grab my BOB and sneak out through the window. Step 4: Go in through the front door quietly. Step 5: Open hall closet and grab .22/.410 rifle/shotgun. Also, Grab all 39 .410 Shotgun shells and 25 .22 rifle rounds. Step 6: Go into Dad's bedroom and take the retractable nightstick from his desk. Step 7: By now, dad has heard me and is headed up the stairs. Load shotgun/rifle and be ready to shoot. Step 8: Shoot dad's risen corpse. Step 9: Take the car keys and GPS. Step 10: Mark coordinates of Specialty sports, and to camp red devil on the GPS. Step 11: Get into the '92 Ford Bronco and Start the engine. Start heading toward specialty sports. Step 12: At specialty sports, take as much ammo as can fit into BOB, and a pistol. Step 13: Go to the nearby chapel hills mall and go to the Sword store on the second floor. Step 14: Grab light weapons. Step 15: Drive to Big R, The designated point to meet with Mikey719 (my brother). Wait for three days. Step 16: If Mikey719 shows up, let him grab a gun and help stock up with supplies and food. Step 17: Drive to walgreens and "borrow" Needed prescription meds. Step 18: Leave for camp red devil. Step 19: Once at camp red devil, look for signs of people, specifically a red "X" Hung on one of the 12-foot concrete walls. Step 20: No signs of occupation, and no moans. Enter Camp red devil and set up base and start up CB radio. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

"Why wouldn't the raiders be at one of the shops he's going to? "It's more convenient to let THEM get all the supplies together. Do you find this valuable? |

Your forgot 8A.Die as I realize that shooting someone with a loved one's face is fawking painful. Not to mention the fact that what you have isn't a plan. It makes zero allowance for variables. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I have different plans for different variables. This is only one of them. I Make more plans daily as I think of different variables, but this is the only one I have published. BTW: I have already trained myself to comprehend that no matter who it is, if they're zeds, they aren't that person anymore. They died and their empty body is trying to eat you. It's okay to nlay waste to a walking corpse. Do you find this valuable? |

"if its an army training camp, don't you think that you no? maby army guys there?"One of said personnel posted the info on the Colorado page. If you want to know more, read what was posted below: "I would like to extend an invitation. This invitation is to all residents of Colorado or whoever happens to be in the area when it goes down. Go to N38.526468 W-104.913125 its in Colorado Springs, CO on Fort Carson. It should be very apparent when you get there where to go. There is an entire town made of armored buildings with thick steel shutters and heavy swinging steel doors. There are tunnels in some to connect buildings. the buildings have strong steel doors to lock the tunnels. The main building we will be in is an embassy with three stories and a helipad on top. It is surrounded by a 12 foot concrete wall and razor wire. there are very few ways in. RULES: When you enter city limits walk calmly in a logical patten "single file or a marching formation" Unless your being chased then fire a few rounds off so we can get to quarters and start dropping hostiles. Please rid yourself of any infected followers before you come our way because you can hear a 240B from a very long way away, we don't want any attention. You should see some survivor "X" in red hanging from the building. If you don't see any indication that it is occupied then enjoy a fortress courtesy of the U.S. Government. Oh did I mention all the houses are furnished with dressers, beds, tables, chairs, desks, couches, love seats and other stuff? They are for room clearing and urban combat training." -DarinM.Annear 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Man, this sucker has a lot of go here and take this, head there and get that involved. I'm not going to preach the "if you don't have it" idea, but this seems like an awful lot of hoping certain places are going to have what you want/need and be accessible. There are a few specific ones that I would reconsider. #5 - A box of 525 .22 rounds costs about 11$ If this is the gun you are taking, buy a box now. #11 - I don't know if you have your license or not, but if the vehicle is a stick I would try and beg some practice time behind the wheel. #13 - For some reason, DOD made everybody think that going to a mall would be a great idea. Take a poll next time you have a large enough group. I would avoid it. #17 - Two problems I see with this, most pharmacies are built like mini fortresses. Not the entire Walgreens, just where they keep the meds. I have the same problem and have since gotten a 6 month supply from my doctor. I don't know if you can do this but my doc was more than happy to give me that prescription. I told him I didn't want to come back over and over for the same prescription. I don't know what I hope to have happen during the apoc and that supply runs out. But in the opening days/month I don't want to be worrying about meds. I will have larger concerns. "Step 1: I close and barricade my bedroom door.Step 3: So no other zombies are around the house? What about the ones that infected your father? Step 8: Two parts (a) You are deliberately confronting a zombie. That runs contrary to the survival ideal. (b) You really think you have the stones to shoot your father? Step 12: Have you not read http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/The+Panic ? Step 13: Really? This is a combined Teenager, WalMart and DotD plan. It bears no resemblance to reality, it fails all tests of critical thinking and logic. http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/Teenage+Survival Read this page. Do you find this valuable? |

I for one, like this plan. Why? Because he's thoughtfully gave me his entire game plan, and bagged up some supplies for me. Of course, on the flip-side, I don't really want to go head on against a kid crazy-enough to go out out of way to shoot his father in the head.

"Step 3: So no other zombies are around the house? What about the ones that infected your father?Step 3: I'll take them out, too (if possible. otherwise, make a run for it) Step 8: Two parts (a) The fewer the zombies, the better. Every shot counts. (b) Zombies are wild animals, Livestock that cannot be utilized in any way. A zombie is a zombie. This one would just have my dad's face. Step 13: Hmm..... That one probably is the worst idea up there, isn't it. I Should skip that one. Do you find this valuable? |

No big deal there. #11- It's an automatic, and I have memorized the controls while watching my dad drive. #13- I was going to just grab one or two things and then leave. I saw dawn of the dead literally over 200 times, and have seen all of Romero's other movies at least twice each, and know what will happen if I stay at the mall, on an Island, in a house, or in a city with a fence around it. #17- I will request the six month supply like you did. We are trying to practice being more tolerant of this sort of thing around here, but seriously.....It's this stuff that makes us respond the way we do. You obviously have no respect or love for your parents. You think you got the pure balls to shoot your dad? You think you are really ready? I've seen your profile, I can say that the ZSG is not a good base for your plans. Going anywhere on Z-day will be a hassle, let alone a store with guns Do you find this valuable? |
