Solid Resistant Materials

Ok, so here is a list of the best potential materials, suits, and armor I have found pertaining to zombie protection. Unfortunately, I have yet to find one that is perfect. Here are some pros and cons of what I have found.

1: Wet suit.

Pros:
-Relatively light in weight
-Relatively Durable
-Bite and Fluid resistant
-Relatively Flexible

Cons:
-They are only known to be bite resistant at 5mm neoprene or thicker.
-Anything over 3mm is made for cold water and holds heat to your body, this can cause hyperventilation, or heat stroke after only a few hours in the sun.

I did manage to find one made with a thin layer of woven titanium that is only 3mm thick and not made to retain heat. Although, it cost nearly $1000, and seems to be extremely rare.

2: Motocross Armor.

Pros:
-Semi light weight
-Highly flexible
-Solid protection to (most) areas
-Made to expel body heat

Cons:
-Motocross armor does not cover every part of the body. It is built to support the main joints, and leaves the underbelly of all limbs almost completely exposed. This can be fixed by applying more of the armor, at the expense of less flexibility and more weight. I would not call that a complete solution.

3: Equestrian Leathers.

Pros:
-Extremely light weight
-Highly flexible
-Does not retain body heat
-Highly durable

Cons:
-It is unclear as to how resistant to biting and scratching the materials will be, as they are not made for such purposes.
-Not resistant to infectious fluids in any way.

4: SWAT / Riot Gear

Pros:
-Highly resistant
-Extremely durable
-Built to expel body heat where possible

Cons:
-Bulky
-Heavy
-Restricts Visuals and flexibility

Looking for thoughts. Perhaps a combination.

This seems copied out of the ZSG. Am I wrong?

Edit - If I ever went for any sort of armor, I would chose 1 of these 2. If I didn't have time to make elaborate armor, I would wear a motorcross getup. If I had a lot of time to set something up, I would go for something like stormtrooper PVC armor. I read the article page a few times about it and it doesnt seem like a bad idea, plus it looks futuristic and badass.

I think if someone saw a stormtrooper walking down the road with that badass AK-47 and FN Five-seveN you have, they'd **** their pants.

In a hurry, leather is easy to find. most people have a leather jacket. The other stuff...well its what you're comfortable with and really depends on where you're going and the season. If you're going up north in the winter, then the wetsuit might not be a bad idea. Do you find this valuable?

Do you think if zombies rely on sounds, that chainmail would make some noise?

You can harden leather and make cuiriasses, vambraces and greaves by sun baking leather (I think cow and deer skin is best for this) in vats of "pure", which is an old style way of saying dog sh!t. I'm no sure on the specifics of how to do this but the end result is fairly strong against knifes and clubs of most sorts. Do you find this valuable?

If you wear the chain maille under your clothes you muffle most if not all of the noise. This may not be the case if you are running, but then if you are running it's probably because the zombies already know you're there, so the noise is no longer an issue.
