Infection that has a very long incubation period or short one?

which would do more damage the rager disease that has maybe a week long incubation period or the rager disease that has a short possibly only 1 hour incubation period. There both just as contagious can be spread by bodily fluids including saliva, sneazing, maybe even sex effectively making it an STD wat would be worse though?

A one hour would be far deadlier and dangerous to deal with then a week long incubation after the spread has become worldwide. In the earlier stages if it's one hour incubation it'd have a hard time spreading as hosts would be easy to identify thereby making the spread far more difficult. While the infection would create hosts faster it'd only spread through ground routes mostly. A longer incubation period would help the virus spread through out the world with help from modern transportation. It's infection rate would lower at the start but the spread would increase massively. After the zedpocalypse part it'd be easier to deal with mostly because there's a long incubation period meaning you have longer to figure out what to do with the infected. It'd also make concealing you've been infected easier as well. Do you find this valuable? |
