"on top of the pump we have drains on the floor of the basement that lead into the well under our house, those our the drains I'm talking about, the worst that we've had is a 1/2 inch of water but that went away before the pump was even fixed. "I wouldn't use my own basement because it's dingy and it would totally flood. =O_O= My best friend lives about a mile (taking shortcuts) away from me though and his basement would be a great place to sleep in. There's a nice crawlspace that could never be broken into by zombies. =^_^= it would simply be a pain to wake up and have to deal with them if they had gotten into the house during the night. =*_*=

We'd spray the glass with black paint though to make it less noticeable that we were hiding out in the house itself then park vehicles around the one easily accessed glass area so it would be even less likely that they would get in and meet us when we opened the hatch in the morning. =^_^="
