isohunt, PB or demoniod the 'Palladin Press' materials BUT! beware even owning some of these titles will contravene anti terrorist laws in some parts of the world. I'm not kidding! Palladin publish the 'poor mans James bond' with its chapters on mantraps and Improvised Explosive Devices as well as reprints of the US army sniper handbook and the Uncle Fester titles on poisoning to name but a few. This is some heavy s**t boys an girls so take care, your chances of surviving a zombie apocalypse are slim inside a federal prison. Do you find this valuable?

As with any goverment surplus, make sure you avoid OLD stuff. Dont buy an M17A1 protective mask (gas mask) since the rubber is bound to be deteriorated. Same with all equipment. Quality items for low prices can be found but you need to do your research. Do you find this valuable?

Not necessarily true, you need to inspect it when you receive it. Even if the mask is good, the filters is the other concern. Not all filters sold are NBC filters or good filters and you have to be careful of that as well. In addition, you should try to find one with a good drinking tube and use a drinking apparatus that has the adapter. If you can not drink while having to wear the MOPP gear or just the mask by itself, you are going to be in serious trouble because it is going to get hot on warm days and the lack of water will kill you too. Do you find this valuable?
