My Z day plan

I live near an air-force base and have access to get on there so id just wait it out there and they would keep me alive because i have many contributions because i know many skills from scouting

You have to remember though that it's possible they'll restrict access to that base. Also, there's no guarantee that they'll keep you alive. I'm sure you do have some good skills, but they're not going to take care of you anymore than anybody else.

my plan b is to gather my closest friends and my family and we will clear out a storage facility and set up a colony there using what resources are there and bringing farming tools ( some of my family live on a farm) and we will tap into the underground river and make a water filtration system out of charcoal and sand if we have to leave base i choose a storage facility because most of them are easily defendable and when most people think zombie survival they think of costco in other words i will dig in deep and grow some broccoli Do you find this valuable? |

Just ask the families of the 13 folks who were fatally wounded (and the 30 non-fatally wounded) at Fort Hood last November... Gotta have plans. First of thank you for not mentioning Walmart. As a rule of thumb it takes about a year to be able to grow a feesable crop so before that whats your plan for food during that time. Do you or your family have experince digging borewater wells? I walk in with a shotgun in my waistband what stops me kicking you all out (or worse). But besides that, this is a really well thought out plan and should probably be plan A. Do you find this valuable? |

plan c is to use the skills i learned at scout-camp take my supplies in my backpacking backpack and go out to the woods and sleep in the trees in a hammock i will make P.S i will bring a knife water purifier calomel back rope clothes flint earplugs and a tarp (edited) a ham radio Do you find this valuable? |

a long line of my family have military experience and therefore know how to shoot a gun ( i know how to also ) and therefore will be able to take you out ( hypothetically ) and for food while the crops are growing it will be the schemorgusboard of what is in the storage units

As soon as our military folks sign in, they'll be able to give you the skinny on base life and protocol should SHTF.
