I thought this was a great idea! I would recommend putting up some links to basic survival aritcles as well. That way the newbies can have a general idea of what survival (sans zombies) takes.

I'm shocked and embarrased I never saw this segment before. Makes for an excellent Premer for the new kids in the bunker.

Maricely: Finally checked out the Ultimate Newbie Guide. I think I found all of the pages you referenced, with the exception of the Spelling/Grammer guide, before I started posting on ZDSW. But putting them all in one spot certainly makes it a lot easier to cover all bases. Truly excellent work!

Well done. I admit I should have read this first, before I made a fool of myself. I have a unique imagination and not always practical. Truth be told I don't know the first thing about survivalism, though I find it interesting and potentially useful.

It was a nice welcome I thought. Not sure how I wound up on this site but... I think I will fit in. Look forward to spending time catching up, seems to be a lot of good info here that I am sure I could use. This guide caught my attention and signed up so I think you did good.
