Why must they torture us like this? I LIKED the Resident Evil games and these people are just banging on it's dead corpse!

And of course my sense of completion won't let me skip this trainwreck. Wesker's gonna get butchered T_T

It is rather fitting for the franchise like that.
It is series about zombies that is a zombie in itself.

It is at this point I would say something witty and poignant, but other than, "another Mila Jovovich vehicle sequel" I have no words. Do you find this valuable?

I'm hoping that the pair leaping through that window was some sort of metaphor for the writers' fates.

Their decision to intentionally shoot out the surrounding windows on the way down does reflect on their intelligence, so it seems pretty appropriate.

It seems we've gone and used up all the creativity in the world.
Is it really that hard to make something new?

Honestly if they adapted the games to movies I'd be a little happier.

As it stands we get Wesker, a Guardian/Executioner, a Majini, possibly another Nemesis, and a ninja/samurai zombie leader.

Just redo the games. At least then you won't need to depend on your bad writers.

So they should use the games script to *avoid* bad writing? Do you find this valuable?

I probably won't go see it. But I will buy it.

Sure, when you compare it to the games, the movies should be dragged into the alley and shot.

But, if you look at is as an excuse to watch Milla Jovovich blast the hell out of zombies, then it's okay.

*Sigh...* I wish they'd used Romero's script for RE1. Seriously, turning down a Romero script for a zombie film is like forbidding Shakespeare to write your high-school play.

"So they should use the games script to *avoid* bad writing?"
You see the games' scripts fall into the "So bad it's good" category of "Feh."

The movies', however, fall into the "Milla Jovovich gave me gangrene and syphilis" category. That category falls into the "Funny because it's true" category of "Truthiness," which falls into the "You think *that's* funny?" category of the "SERIOUS BUSINESS" subcategory of the "I can't recognize dry humor because this is the internet" branch of "Derp."

The dialogue may have induced eyestrain from rolling them so much but that just makes it campy.

As it stands it (the series of films) revolves around a samurai/mutant/super-agent/zombie/ninja/combination-of-the-lot girl who is somehow able to dodge everything and find herself in a position better than what she jumped out of every single time.

She is so good she can go face/face with a super-mutant and a group of armed mercs and in spite of being built like a pencil manages to kick massive levels of ass.

Notice how little the presence of zombies or mutants enters the fray? The zombies/mutants/zombie mutants/mutant machines/zombie machines/zombie mutant machines are the core of the RE franchise.

That's just good TV LOL!

Heh, JK. Although, it's no worse than the Tomb Raider films.

I actually didn't mind the first tomb raider film simply because of the really cool concept but the one after that gave me internal bleeding with a side of blindness

You went blind? Did you grow hair on your hand too?

Edit: I stopped the video when I saw the duel Desert Eagles, and yes MD is the exception that proves the rule. I am going to vomit now that I have seen this.

Yeah she was pretty hot, especially in the first one, but that was the young Angelina.

As she got older though...ehhh, not so much. That's personal preference though. I still don't understand the whole "hottest actress of all time" thing, especially when there were way hotter women then and now.
