The Trek To the North
Aug 15 2010, 4:25 PM EDT
Hey all, this is a continuation of a long worked and slaved over thread:http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/thread/3652884/SovietPrince%2FJPTank+plan?offset=880&maxResults=20 A great collaboration between me and a few other grand members. To those that were involved, thank you so much guys (and gals) This thread, however, is created so that we can all carry on a new plan. It isn't really directed for my appeal or anything, as I've tossed the "go north" Idea(because I live in Florida and well.. go figure) Anyway, for you guys that wanted to discuss heading north into Canada, and how you all can coordinate with each other, here ya go! (btw I will help out, but just so you know I'll go for Montana before I meet up with you guys, because of the shear difficulty on my end..) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Well, I live in Wisconsin, but I really don't know if I'm in or out till I know what your plan consists of. Seems to be comprised of a few seasoned members, so that's what caught my interest. I tried weeding through the other 45 page thread, but it would make a lot more sense if someone posted a run down of this plan.

Im inME = NE ohio my plans allready include going north. im just trying to figure out how to get up there... Anybody who wants to make a pit-stop near cleveland may want to stop at the IX center. my build up camp will be 200m south of the main parking lot. bring your own gear and food. be warned, the IX center is a 30 second drive to hopkins airport Do you find this valuable? |

I'm pretty sure we are making a completely new plan. And Comrade, I am just going to add that I/we am/are *NOT* going to push into the frigid barrens of *northern* canada, where the population is literally "0". I think we should go a good distance into Canada, but not that far. Do you find this valuable? |

"I'm getting the people who want to participate in this plan, and then we'll work out how we'll actually go about building a completely t1ts fortress in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, and of course getting everyone together and there."well the issue with building a fortress out that far is having the proper means of doing so... not only would(for a fortress) we need certain tools and man power, but a proper fort, so far out, requires a type of structure with certain types of material.... Here's what I vote: in a scenario where we can [logically] do whatever, i personally vote for a fort made from tree trunks. ye olde style and what not. Do whatever for defenses, incorporate the tree village method mentioned earlier, but we would need a suitable fortress. Everyone needs a base.. out of that, inside, for food storage, armory, and if its better than log cabins, concrete cinderblock buildings. This is of course all hypothetical. You have to account for how the hell you're moving cinderblocks into a forest(horse and packmule? lol) Do you find this valuable? |

I like the style of PedroAsani's fortress, I just think we could do without Over 9000 sections of gates. The resources needed to build a fortress would be astronomical. We don't need to add to the workload.Of course, all of this needs further discussion. A lot of further discussion. I wasn't planning on placing it smack in the middle of nowhere, anyway.
