Zombie Biology.

Exactly how would a real zombie form? How would they act, how would they work inside, and most important, how will it affect the Non-Zombie people? Any serious contribution is appreciated. Do you find this valuable?

"search real world zombie biology"
I did. They did not include the possibility of a super cell zombie and did not include the possibility of one with an extreme metabolic rate so as to be able to constantly modify its own physique.

because those with extreme metabolic wont be able to feed themselves unless they farm which is not what we mean when saying zombie, and what is super cell?
supernatural?
not gonna happen

The Super cell is like a slime mold, where large amounts of microorganisms work cohesively, almost like a single organism. For example, like the Flood in Halo 3 (probably not as extreme). they would be able to mutate a dead or living body, in some cases reanimating a corpse and using the dead tissue as scaffolding.

The super cell already exsists (Slime molds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slime_mold) . However, only when it becomes virulent and is capable of taking over a host can it be considered a zombie. lets assume it has adapted sporangia to pick up electric and magnetic signals like many other organisms can. If it is capable of doing that, it may also be able to sent electronic and chemical feedback, so if it managed to attach onto your brain, it would be able to control you to some extent. due to their microscopic arrangement, they would also be able to efficiently convert organic/nonorganic mass into parts of itself and grow to release spores, or some other form of transmission. in some cases, their ability to metabolize could be used to modify their host, making it much more efficient at infecting others. Another possibility is that if a corpse is not too badly damaged, the super cell could eat all the microorganisms and then procede to reanimate the corpse by replacing all the damaged or missing tissue with modified parts of itself that can perform the same tasks, and become a zombie. The second action, however, would require a lot of energy and therfore also an incubation period, depending in its metabolic rate.
