not quite a "newbie"
Aug 28 2010, 7:12 PM EDT | Post edited: Aug 28 2010, 7:12 PM EDT
now, i have been with the site for about a year and until recently had a plan A, B, C and a hundered back ups and mdifications for each plan incase something went awry.
now i ask you, ZSDW, with every plan i've had to date trashed, and living in a highly populated area north of dallas Tx., does anyone have any completely out of the light idea of how to protect myself should zombies rise?
Do you find this valuable?

Um... leave the area. That's all I can really say. Get away from population centers. Not only would there be lots of zombies, but the areas with a large population of infected may also be the target of any nuclear weapons the military may use.

if i choose to leave the area, i have to deal with everyone else who came to the same decision; getting caught in traffic. sadly, driving is the only option. i'd be on foot for a year before finding a safe, secluded place. Do you find this valuable?

If I were you, find a good building in the area with a couple of deep floors, you could grab your bob and take shelter there. Try a public access place so you can get there and not pay.

You could buy a bike or a motocycle

Dig in, and get the hell out after things have settled down, at least among humans. Do you live directly in Dallas, or are you in the outskirts in a suburban area? Do you find this valuable?

Why go it alone? Grab up some neighbors, friends, family and set up in your neighborhood. Survival doesn't have to be such a dismal endeavor if you surround yourself with people you can trust and who will have your back.

Even strangers are better than nobody. Not everybody you encounter will be out to get you... that's just paranoid thinking.
