The smallest state in the US, but yet the best to escape too. Rhode Island, my home, almost everyone on the water on the boat. Know how to use a boat and your all set. Go to the nearest harbor, and make a fleet. Supply ships, war ships, medical ships, and backups, and ect. I think someone in this area should make a group so that some people might live. I am not a mall ninja, im 14, can barely drive, and i do know the waters around RI.

A ship would not be a bad idea to live on if you don't leave the port; you can always pull up the gangplank and just sit there, pretty well protected against anything that doesn't have lots of ammo. Then you can hop out whenever you need to to forage for supplies. I think it would be alot safer to remain close to the coast than to enter the open ocean. For one, you are more likely to encounter what is left of the US government along the eastern seaboard (rescue). I do have to wonder about pirates, but then again they would have all of the same concerns to worry about that any other vessel does, so it may not even be an issue. Do you find this valuable? |

You also have consider fuel and what if something happens to the ship can you fix it. Also so what if you are 14 i am 15 and i have more common sense them some adults it doesn’t matter if you are 14 or 50 as long you posts are intelligent no one will treat you like a kid. (Also if you think about luring me i know how to inflict i more ways then most adults do now have a freaking nice day)

A ship would be an excellent locale. Pull up the brow but leave your shore ties in place. That way you will have fresh water, electricity and internet conection while it still last. If you know how, insure all the fresh (potable) water tanks are filled. When the zombies gather on the pier you can pull them into the water with boat hooks. Once the area is clear drop the brow and raid/ scavenge the other vessels for medical/ food/ blankets/ what have you. You'll have one very important piece of equipment on the bridge, a radio. Don't forget good ol' Channel 16. It's the international distress channel. "pon-pon, pon-pon pon-pon, hello all stations, hello all stations. This is the (your vesel name here) located at (your grid location). Seeking any and all that can hear this. (You fill in the rest)" And as for the age thing: I've met teens that act more mature than some of the adults I've met in my lifetime. Every person starts with a clean slate in my book. I treat idiot posters like idiots, regardless of age. It just so happens that many young posters happen to post like idiots. But logic reminds us that correlation does not equal causation. WhyBother is an excellent example of a young teen who posts in a mature, logical, intelligent and respectable manner, and I extend to him (and those like him) all of the consideration I would afford any quality poster, regardless of age. Quality (of posts) is desirable over Quantity (of years). Do you find this valuable? |
