Jute twine could be too valuable to use to start fires!

Recently learning to make straw rope gave me the idea of how fundamental 'string technology' is, And that begs the question 'do you have a plan for that?'

I've seen Heather rope used in extreme conditions so I fancy trying to make some of that next, then I'll work my way down to the finer stuff. Do you find this valuable?
