Lets give ourselves a deadline-teens edition

To all those teens out there who don't have BOB, BOL, or even just a weapon thats NOT a base ball bat, do you think that you can get enough stuff together by say (just a deadline, putting a little pressure) december 21, 2012? To last a week? A month? Infinity(sustanable, without raiding)?

edit: wrong date. 2112 is a century to late.

I know that I probably won't. Most I have is a bow that my sister owns, and a base ball bat. I got enough food to last a few days(feeding my family of seven, so if they die/ get infected, i can last much longer)

Looking for minors, not adults who can/have already bought all the things they need.

yap

i have a BOL which happens to be a farm

if i know for sure that SwillHTF in dec 21 2012 and my parents know for sure, we would get a biiiiig loan from bank and build a well, install solar panels, and make a greenhouse, guns, and such

without suicidal loans, its gonna take a bit more time since i have a family of 7 and cash is not something we bathe in:)

i do not live in USA and canned foods are much more expensive than in America, so nothing more than 2 weeks of food storage we have now is going to be purchased
as for guns, nope- there are 3 kids younger than 12 + they are expensive + i cannot own one + my parents dont want

as for weapons, we have 2 bows(non lethal[i assumeXD]) and (lethal) tools like tilt hammers, axes and pickaxes

I could get a bomb shelter with hundreds of guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and pallets of MRE's, along with whatever else I might need...

...By 2112...

I have two 12 gauge shotguns and a .22 rifle. Not really that much firepower. I have, like, no ammunition for any of them, anyway.

The post was a joke. You said the year 2112. 102 years from now.

MRE = Meals Ready to Eat. They are somewhat 'self-cooking' meals that often contain enough calories for an entire day, sometimes even more than that. They don't taste the best, though.

ive so far gotten a small BOB set up with basic survival equipment, mostly just gathered around my house and garage from camping supplies that we dont use anymore. My weapons include: machete-2 feet overall, Wood-cutting axe, plently of large knives to use in a pinch, but curently no guns. im hoping to add a 80-100 lb pistol crossbow to my collection soon, i reccomend going to a swap meet to find melee weapons, i got my machete for 8 dollars, it needed some work but it was totally worth it, theres little treasures here and there. Ive seen plenty on machetes at swap meets/marts, i would go to one and just check it out and see what the stalls sell. Do you find this valuable?

They contain an AVERAGE of 1300 calories per meal, if you eat everything in them. They are fully cooked, and can be eaten cold. I have, in fact, done so. Nothing tastes good cold. NOTHING. The heaters use water, and can heat the entree pretty quick (give it 10-15 minutes) if done as the instructions say.

They really aren't bad as some people make them out to be. Yeah, you get tired of them really quick, but there is actually a good selection. They come with goodies like skittles, twizzlers, cookies, and cakes.

leadership: 4/10
Strength: 8/10
Intelligence: 3/10
Courage: 10/10
Weapon: machete, pretty good with a spear

Jamal: Very intelligent, surprisingly strong, but very annoying 14 year old

Strength: 6/10
Intelligence: 10/10
Courage: 6/10
Weapon: Remington rifle, hand axe

Pedro : nice, very cowardly, but tough farmer neglected by parents, 13
Leadership: 1/10
Strength: 10/10
Intelligence: 2/10
Courage: 4/10
Weapon: Remington rifle, 357 magnum, pitchfork, carpenters hammer, pick axe, Winchester lever action rifle

People who i may decide to let come with us less likely

Isabella, aka Missy: good cook, short and athletic, very bad temper
leadership: 6/10
Strength: 7/10
intelligence: 7/10
Courage: 5/10

16 foot long bayonet"
Didn't you say earlier you were heartless and barely human?
(In the "What Skills Do You Bring To The Table Thread.)
I think feeling bad about rating people falls under having a heart...

As for the second part...uh, yeah.

But apparently, your greatest weapon can't discern between feet and inches, or properly construct a grammatically correct sentence.

if at my dads house i will just stay in the house watching tax dollars at work (live on military base) carrying a 12 gauge at all times with 25 shells and a machete
If at moms house I would go to a storage facility carrying a meat cleaver along with my backpacking backpack full of canned food clothes and med supplies along with my friends with there guns
