every albertan on this site t dosent already have a base head to edmonton and then to the west edmonton mall and wait by one of the enterances i will check every day three times at each door i wont have many guns though. oh and also the reason i picked wet edmonton mall is couse theres thousands of supplies and many lockable stores if the mall gets over run by zacs i will throw a molotov cocktail through one of the windows to torch the mall so if when you get their and the mall is burned down then i will either be dead or in another mall

i don't know if i should laugh or cry ^^1) sure a mall could make a nice fort, but the prob is that almost every other beginner thinks that. So by the time youll get there, its likely to be overflooded with Zombies or someone was faster than you and chances that he lets you in are low. 2) it would be better if you set up an walkie talkie on an specific channel and tell it to us, for the people that read this and want to come to your hideout. Cause if youll check 3 times a day the entrance chances are good that possible survivors by the time youll find them are Zeds ^^ 3) burning down a whole mall ? even if its overrun theres no point in burning down, cause you could clean the zeds out without much trouble. 4) please read some of the info put up here for newbies cause youll have a lot to learn but if youre willing to learn welcome i am also new here :D Do you find this valuable? |

Sure, your molotov will burn the mall down. Assuming it doesn't land on one of the wide expanses of tile flooring that every shopping mall has. Tile doesn't burn easily.There's also an absolutely massive amount of entrances to a mall, including service ones that most people don't even see. How are you going to keep all of them secure? Never mind the fact that you'll arrive and either be crushed in a stampede of people trying to get in because they all shared your bright idea or you'll arrive into a riot and someone will kill you and steal your wallet before grabbing a TV and bolting. Do you find this valuable? |

WEM, is probably one of the worst malls to think about(asides from Mall of America)I have been there once, and only covered about 10% of the entire floor space, I think you are right about checking each door only 3 times a day, as I would think thats the most you would be able to in a 24 hour period, considering the umpteen million enterances. Your best bet in Alberta is to find a small township, probably as far north as you could possibly make it (and I know damned well there are lots) or even an old mining community(as I know there is atleast 1 still standing) also remember, you have one of natures best walls watching over you, The Rockies. and I have a hard time believing that zeds would have an easy time rock climbing. Do you find this valuable? |

Do you? |
