"The desire to kill every zed would be my driving force to keep me going. I would be SOOOOOOOO PISSED at losing my family because of ZED, or Raiders, that I would have a overwhelming desire to eliminate them all. I would feel even the first ZED is just as responsible for the death of my family as the ones who bit them/ate them. And after the hundredth time you walked into another infested town with another horde and walking away having made next to no dents in it your rage would fizzle. If your rage didn't lead you into a bad situation first. Rage can not sustain someone forever. It's a fast fire. Hot as hell but short-lived especially in the face of the odds you would be facing. It's easy to speak of continuing but few if any of us have been there. Do you find this valuable? |

Yes I would keep going, it would become my quest. Do you find this valuable? |

Watching this season, and What I have learned so far is to protect your medic, and to train new people. Do not send your medic in on a Zed sweep mission, but have them back in a secure area. That way they can be ready to treat someone who may be injured on the mission.New people who do not know what is going on, but trying to join your group, will need extensive training in dispatching zed,and surviving. I simply cannot understand how ppls this stupid have managed to survive this long. Even with divine intervention..... Why bother sweeping the place clean anyways? Once your sure the doors are locked, you can clean them out at your leisure. Prolly a better idea anyways to get the emergancy generators online so you can bring the lights on first. Easier to see what is going on rather than peer into the darkness with a flashlight looking for undead types. And for that point... why go looking for them in the first place? Just walk up to a door and start calling "Here zombie zombie.. here boy.." etc.. a few moans and they will shamble looking for you. Why go after them in the dark when they come to you? Any sweep made later would pick up any stragglers or crawlers that could not get to you. Sure beats staring down 20 when all you have is a pointy stick.. I was hoping that season 3 would finally see some sense driven into the characters... Do you find this valuable? |

My biggest problem with this season is that one of the highlights I was looking forward to was the prison and it is now the source of most of my disbelief.I'm a bit of an expert on prisons and the one on the show has to be one of the worst designs I have ever seen. The maze of corridors, the "yard", the multiple courtyards, the placement and number of the guard towers, the guard post, the fenced in stairwells, the location and layout of the mess hall...they all grate on me. It leads me to believe that either the producers did no research / consulting on prison design or that they did so and then chose to ignore the expertise out there in favor of plot devices. All of this is in addition to all the underlying questions about the state the prison is found in to begin with. I won't say that it is spoiling the season for me (thank you Michonne), but it is annoying the hell out of me. Do you find this valuable? |

"Does anyone think they're killing people off too fast? And it sucks they killed T Dawg(Dog?) cuz i really liked him even though he only had a couple of one liners."I guess it really depends upon what your basis of comparison is. On the one hand, I think it is a fairly accurate portrayal of how dangerous the zombie infested world would be. People are going to die. Lots of them. On the other hand, the pace seems sort of odd. They didn't lose a single person over the entire winter while on the run from the thousands strong herd. However, they finally find a relatively safe area and people start dropping like flies? However, we have to keep in mind that this is a television drama. You don't kill people off while the show is on hiatus, because there is no drama in it. Now that you have started another season, you do have to occassionally kill some characters off, even (or especially) the popular ones to keep the drama high. Frankly I thought T-Dog was a terrible character (especially compared to the books) and won't miss him anywhere near as much as I would have ANY of the remaining characters. It's unfortunate, because I don't think the actor had a chance given the complete lack of character development he had to work with. Do you find this valuable? |

Since this thread is now almost 300 posts, and two years old, I'm locking it to shunt the traffic to the weekly episode threads. New one is up momentarily, when WP gets it **** sorted.
