Catalina

I think this would be a great place to go. Its inhabited but not overly populated, only about 4000 residents, still plenty of fertile land, with wild game(buffalo). I know how to pilot a boat and there are tons in the harbor. As for the whole 'zombies walk across the ocean floor' thing, the trench between Catalina and mainland california is thousands of feet deep, and drops off suddenly. Plenty of fishing around the island as well. Only real concern would be storms.

sounds sweet, hopefully the people living there wouldn't mind you staying.we do not know if they are able to walk across the ocean floor, for all we know, they may breathe, which seems like an advantage for us. Fishing is pretty good way of getting food. not sure what to do about storms. Do you find this valuable? |
