It would be fair protection. It's not really rigid enough to offer sound bite protection, but it's far better than nothing, If anything i'd suggest wearing a sweat shirt underneath. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

might not be that bad, assuming the weather is cool enough for you to wear it, and it is big enough for you to move freely.

i really think mobility is key, here. if you get to the point that you are 100% bite-proof, then you are going to be so slow that you probably will be brought down by a mob. i would say a moderate degree of protection is a good thing, but for the most part if they have you in a position to bite, you are already screwed.

if you want an example of how hard it is to catch something that doesn't want to be held, try to grab a strange cat and bite it:) (um...actually don't. probably not a good idea). but the point is, it is hard to grab ahold of someone/something that doesn't want to get grabbed. if a zed tries to grab you, you will probably get away. as for groups of them? AVOID GROUPS OF ZOMBIES:)

Haha!
That would be provide pretty good protection! I myself wouldn't be wearing any such thing! As I live in Australia, it is pretty damn hot. I am going for mobility>protection. I don't even plan on getting anywhere near a zombie unless I truly have to.

If/when SHTF, you coils think about cutting that jacket up. I would use just the sleeves, as my arms are most likely to be what gets near a zombie, and leather sleeves could provide armour without being too heavy. Having pre-made sleeves on a jacket is a good idea, as my original plan involved winding leather strips around my forearms, but a jacket seems so much easier. Do you find this valuable?
