hey, here's a scenario for u all to ponder.its your last days on the planet, u know survival is out of the question, and you're stuck in the middle of a zombie horde. you know that you're going to have to make your final stand, what weapon would you choose to take out as many zombies as possible before you fall to the masses that surround you? personally i would get a chainsaw on a ten foot pole, u know the kind they use to limb trees where the gas tank and the starter cord and the trigger are on one end, and the 16" blade is on the other. i would make my final stand with that thing, i want to go out in style and i think it would be a gnarly showdown, i could probably take out quite a few of those bastards with it. and if i know that im gunna die, i might as well have some fun with it, right? 0 out of 3 found this valuable. Welcome to the site, BL. One request I have? Please, use proper grammer. However, on that note, thanks for using paragraphs! most new members refuse to.To answer your questin.... Assuming any weapon? -The AA12. I dont even care what ammo (Frap12 would be nice). -Find a way to attach a chainsaw to said firearm (ALA Gears of War). After that? Hell, I dunno... a lot of high explosives. All on a bridge. So that when I go? I go out with the biggest bang I can. Again, welcome to the site! Look forward to seeing you around. Some sort of gun. Any gun strong enough to pierce my brain. That wat, I can save a bullet for myself. Hell's empty, so where's the demons to torture us endlessly over the flaming cauldron's, yeah? I'm an Atheist anyway.Failing that, position : the highest point I can get, where those zombies will have a hard time reaching me. Ranged weapons if I can, failing that, a strong, reliable melee weapon that will crush those zombies' skulls. But not a sledgehammer. How would I get anywhere with that strapped to my back? Do you find this valuable? |

A large amount of claymore mines, mounted in concentrate rings, pointing outward, with 100 pounds of HE mounted to the back of my head, and back. I would blow the rings in sequence, taking out ZED, until they over ran the last ring, and got close to me. Then I would detonate the HE as Zed began trying to eat me.

I need the following1 - HK GMG 30 - 32 round belts of High explosive 40x53mm grenades 1 - bottle of Johnny Walker blue label 1 - ounce Colombian cocaine. 1 - Katana 1- brick of c-4 1- deadman switch with appropriate detonator. ASSUMING that at the end of the situation I would die, I'd drink the Johnny walker while unloading with the GMG, When I ran out of grenades I would bury my face into the pile of coke, inhaling as much as I possibly could, activate the deadman, and run headlong in with the katana. * I don't snort coke, nor should anyone, buuuttt if you're going to die anyway. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

But failing to procure a nuke big enough to leave a radioactive hole suitable to my tastes, I think around 4000 lbs of ANFO would be nice. Same end result, scorched earth, just understated. Do you find this valuable? |

If we're talking realistic? I'd rather not make a last stand. My weapons aren't going to be suitable for a last stand. Any way I can attempt escape without zombies, I'll go for it. I can't get out, in this situation, short of perhaps suicide.Lots of trees. Light and oil. They aren't getting out the forest unscathed. I've no chance in that situation either, but I can try, right? Do you find this valuable? |

I would have the following:1 - L98 A2 1 - Beretta 92 SF 5 - Boxes of 5.56mm NATO rounds 1 - can of Guinness (hey, I am Irish) 1 - M67 hand grenade 1 - Katana So, I make my stand in the middle of a crossroad. When the rounds in the L98 run out, take out the beretta, start taking shots. When that has gone, drink the Guinness, go into close-quarters. When I get taken down, BOOM goes the grenade. Do you find this valuable? |

"hey, here's a scenario for u all to ponder.dear god, for your sake, i hope you never meet this scenario let that last statement cover anyone who said chainsaw. have any of you actually USED a chainsaw? lets go over a few traits about it. a chainsaw: - is unweildly - is heavy - is high maintenance - requires gas - doesnt last long on the gas it has so a chainsaw on a pole, you would have trouble getting up off the ground. another favorable trait of a chainsaw is the fact that it will "kick" when it makes contact with something. occasionally (3/5 times) when you make contact with something, the teeth will not start splitting through but will instead catch on the object and cause the chain to jerk, which will throw the whole chainsaw backwards with enough force to remove it from an unprepared person's grip. i can only assume that this "kick" occurs more often, when you swing it at someone like a baseball bat, and/or when it has to cut through bone, which is a bit more durable than wood. Do you find this valuable? |

Hahaha... you're thinking small with that chainsaw on a stick. If you're going for a messy cutting tool, try a vehicle mounted forestry chainsaw, like the ones they used to use on Kauri trees in New Zealand (which can be more than 20m in circumference).Honestly though, for suicidal death-by-numbers I'd need to combine something belt-fed and reliable with something that went BOOM with capital letters, in or on a structure which would then collapse in a spectacular and lethal fashion. I don't want to be eaten. I'm pretty sure on that point. Faroe's on the forest... next to not being eaten I'd place not burning to death pretty high in my list of priorities. It's be up there with radiation sickness and ebola as not-much-fun ways to go. Do you find this valuable? |

My last stand? I only require two things. It's not as 'epic' or 'brutal' but it's the most realistic in my opinion.1. A handgun with one bullet. 2. A hand grenade. I don't plan on being 'the hero' or having any false illusions as taking out an entire horde single-handedly. Granted, the hand grenade kills from shrapnel and the sheer luck you'd need to kill a handful of ZEDs with a single grenade is phenominal. Just pull the pin, drop the grenade, and fire that one round into my own head before the grenade explodes. Any human who still has the power to take his own life after taking the full brunt of shrapnel is nearly non-existant.. or simply just not me. No desire to get peppered with metal or feasted upon like a cheap all you can eat buffet. -OS Do you find this valuable? |
