One machine gun you guys should consider is the American 180 it is a 22lr or.22 Short Magnum it's a pretty good submachine gun that usally has a 200 round magizine and has almost no recoil I know the cartridge is not all that powerful but theres not much that can withstand 20 or so rounds Do you find this valuable?

i dont want to start another .22 flame thread here, cause i love the .22LR but its not sufficient for zombies.

it is a great survival rifle, and youre right. i dont care if it is such a small caliber, i dont ever want to see 20 rounds of .22 flying at me!

I completely disagree. .22 LR is fine for zombies, considering you know how to shoot.

The American 180 is an interesting gun, but full auto is over rated.

"its the length of an LR but the power of a Magnum"
How is that possible? Does it used a more volatile powder or something?

I'm not sure exactly? well I'm not sure if it has the same power as a Magnum or what but it is more powerful than the LR

Here's what I found.....22 ILARCO
Notes: The .22 ILARCO was designed in 1987 as an experimental round for the American-180 rimfire submachinegun. It is basically a hot-loaded .22 Long Rifle round, with the heavier bullet of the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire round and a strengthened .22 Long Rifle case with much more propellant. This was done to increase the power of the American-180, which could not chamber the longer .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire round, without having to redesign the action and magazines. The power is almost the same as that of the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. The .22 ILARCO round never went into large-scale production, and the sale of the American-180 patent ensured this. The .22 ILARCO is now a collector’s item.
Other Names: .22 Short Magnum Rimfire, .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire Short

Can you actually get this gun and the ammo?

If not, I wouldn't suggest it.

The standard varient is .22LR with a 220 round pan magazine and fires 1200rpm.
It is classified as a submachinegun so should be hard to get a hold of, so in my opinion it isn't worth it.
