Seriously I have two words to say to the OP: Patriot Act. Homeland Security can get info on the OP before lunch for such a post. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

True, but you can talk about how to convert one all day long. It's not illegal until someone actually performs the act without the proper authorization.

I promise you that I'm on their list, LOL

And guys, please don't mess around with the rubber band idea, or the twist tie idea. That is so ghetto. AK's and AR's are not machineguns anyways, they were never designed to sustain long periods of fully automatic fire. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Not sure I want to be using a twist tie in the firearm I am trusting my life too. Do you find this valuable?

"I had to make an account to prove you wrong an ak-47 does have two sears. One on front one in back. This does work just fine I've done it before its not slam fire doesn't hurt the GUN. And the trigger isn't immobilize the first sear catches the hammer. Friend you must not know guns."

Want to point out that second sear?......I only see the one but then since I "must not know guns" maybe I'm missing it [grin].

Now don't get goofy and say that the second sear isn't shown and make yourself out to even look worse because while I don't want to waste more of my time on this I can easly get one of my AKs remove the top cover and take a photo to show it only has the one sear.

Suggestion....Next time you make up something or copy something from another idiot do a little research on it first 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Converting an AK to FA is easy, and every AK owner should do it - exactly once - and never again. FA has no real tactical superiority in the VAST majoriy of situations.

Anywhere that spraying ammo about is a good idea, a better result could be gotten from a fragmentation explosive (at only slightly increased illegality).

It is great fun, however. I did it once and had things back and legal long before an officer could have shown up (even if one had been called).

I suggest using actual steel wire rather than a twist-tie, rubber band, or anything else that might melt, singe, or otherwise crud up the gun (not that you can crud up an AK without trying anyways). 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
