Rendezvous

Should you be in Louisiana you can meet me at a number of locations I will be at Barksdale airforce base for at least a day more probably a week if i can manage it I would love to see you there this is of course a week or so after the sh!t hits the fan ofcourse. We will roll out with a apc stocked full up weapons ammo mres. IF roads are clear enough we will also use a 18 wheeler to carry more mres and ammo. If i have found a pilot we will fly out of there to hawaii depending on fuel or to montana or north dakota. also just to let you know if you come I AM IN CHARGE alright i will welcome your input but again I AM IN CHARGE. anyway you can also find me if we are not flying out of there on 71 or 1 heading north to again north dakota or montana. My call sign will be K5LHS. if you say that i will know you are friendly.

It will be mobbed with people, from civilians to soldiers who want to hold on to the supplies. What's to stop them from forcing you out? 2. Assuming you did get into the base, how would you access the weapons and ammunition? Most are behind very large, locked doors. 3. What precisely qualifies you to be in charge? Do you have any training in the area? It is entirely possible that someone could come in, shoot you, and take control. And hi, Dread! I haven't seen you in a while! Do you find this valuable? |

well to answer why I would be in charge is because I have the plan. I would of course listen to reason. I'm just saying that I would have the final say so. Also I believe that the base will most likely be overrun due to zombies in among people flooding to the base and turning them all into zombies. I believe that the ammunition while difficult to get to could be done because it was designed to keep out people with electricity such as alarms and bells and whatnot. While im not saying that it wont be hard i dont believe it will be impossible but even if it were i will be able to scrounge off the soldiers lying everywhere and some of them might have explosives such as grenades and c4 to open any doors that i need. Barksdale is quite a big complex as such i believe that firing any weapons or any explosions will not draw an overwhelmingly large number of zombies. Other than those already on the base which might congregate at the gates which we could skirt and go to a realitivley quiet part of the base to get in because there will be no one patrolling. While i agree that someone might come and shoot me ill have people i trust watching out for both zombies and raiders. Also the base is across the river from shreveport which is the large city next to it. as such i would believe that the military as last act of desperation would blow the bridge. While the river is broad right there it is quite slow moving and i believe i can confidantly get across. I would love some more suggestions. it is good to know that someone else is in louisiana and gotten their stuff together. im not close to barksdale but i am close to a national guard pilot training center (cousin is an instructor). both he and i are pilots and would more than likely take 2 of the blackhawks and head north with family and close friends. we would be more than happy to meet up with you on your way up there. i believe we could both benefit from the situation. eyes in the air for you and added people to guard when we had to inevitably set down for any reason. (gas, supplies, etc...) ill keep my callsign as carzepp for ease of memory. we would be scanning all military and civillian channels on the way. so i believe we could find each other

cool see you there. i assume barksdale would have a supply of fuel for helicopters if we wanted to take those because they are easier to maneuver and set down. We will have to see. I saw some a-10's flying to day which we could use to kill zombies with depending on their loadout.K5LHS Do you find this valuable? |
