it is alot better than some of the plans i've read, but it still needs alot of revising. First, barricades only slow them down, it doesnt stop them. The only way to make sure they dont get to you in your second story is completely destroying the staircase. Running outside in the middle of the day with only one weapon and a metal sled for protection isnt the most intelligent idea, especially if your alone. Get a gun, 'nuff said. For the whole "cabin" thing. Considering your means of reinforcements already planned out were "dropping a weight on its head and barricading the stairs" i wouldnt particularly trust you to improvise. especially if your already under pressure. overall, 6/10 from me.
