Ok here is a good question...You and your sibling were sent by the group you were in to scavenge the city after gathering the goods your sibling gets bitten in the arm by a zed. After getting back to your camp you show the wound to your group and everyone is giving their opinions about how to deal with the situation.

A) An old man says that you should give your sibling a bullet in the head now

B) The group doctor says you should cut off the infected limb.

C) The priest says let her die but when she turns kill her

D) A family member says to not kill him/her

E) The person on communications says that their is a rumor flying around on the air saying that their is a cure about a days drive from here.

F) A biologist says that we should lock him/her up before they turn so that we can study on him/her

G) The insane military sarge says that we should use them as target practice after they turn

H) chain them up in the basement and play playstation games with them(thanks to humanroach)

So which one would you pick?

Z) Ask them what they want.

Not much of a scenario, to be perfectly frank.

Z.

my sister's response will invariable be:
" kill me? nah... cut off my arm? Hmm.. nope..... Leave me to die a painful death? Nah, that doesn't sound fun either. "

Well, that helped lots. back to square one.

Not everyone is mature/ super-bad-ass enough to impartially weight up the pros and cons of a decision when their own life is at steak.

Even if going for E is dangerous, and very unlikely that's always going to be mine and my sister's first choice at this point.

Besides, If you asked me to ask my sister to choose between one less arm and a bullet in the head I'd give you a swift kick in the shin.

Personally I'd consider the amputation depending on how effective I thought it might be. vehemently protect my sisters life until it was clear weather or not that would work and then go for the cure either way. But like I said, this decision clearly shouldn't be left to me.

Anyway....if E is at all likely, that's got to be a high-up priority for the group as a whole anyway?
