"im just asking about the usefullness of bamboo could it be good as a building material or a fire material also because it grows so quickly does that make it even more usefull because you could make decent timber industrie after z day if you wanted to and make bamboo farms for building materials rather than having to go to a forest and disturb the local wild life by deforesting it."
after a very short search there are more then 1,450 species of bamboo.

So I would say it all depends on what bamboo you are referring to.

Bamboo farms take years to establish before yielding cuttings and It doesn't grow well in most of the United States,

Stick with native woods, with most of the population gone you should be fine.

Good idea, just don't have all the kinks worked out, but good to someone thinkning outside the box, or circle, or rectangular prism, or whatever shape we're in. Do you find this valuable?
