"I'll betcha a dollar he either already has one in there, or carries one with him every day anyway, and he just didn't bother to list it."yeah, leatherman waves or gerbers in all the bags, I carry a Colombia river guppie with me. All the cars are equipped with socket &wrench kits as well as a camp axe, E-tool, and an IDL CircSaw. I'll get a picture of one of my bags laid out so you guys can see it. Just for my information,Epic, you listed a CircSaw. I've never seen once before, why did you choose that instead of something else. It's certainly a different looking saw. (Admittedly, I'm a gadget-freak. So...pros and cons?)

I picked one up a while back at a small local building supply store. I have used it to trim branches for firewood. it helped in the construction of my deck and the fort I built the kids last year. I cant think of a con in my own experience, its the best little tool Ive ever owned but like all saws the blade will dull and it will eventually need replacing. This is not a super fancy survival tool, its a folding carpenters saw that's designed for rugged everyday use. It will serve you well as long as you take care of it. Do you find this valuable? |

That is without doubt one of the wonkiest looking multi-tools I've ever seen, so I'm gonna have to parrot NotAlice and ask for pros and cons of that one too. Do you find this valuable? |

It has saved me from many tow bills with my mustang. bad ground wire, loose terminal fittings, A thermostat that decided to go in a place where nobody would ever find my body. again, this isn't some state of the art survival tool but if you think you might have to do some roadside mechanics its something you may want. its ugly, bigger and heavier than most and spends most of its time sitting in a messenger bag that i carry but when you need it, its priceless. "The problem is that, except in extreme cases, Canadian Law as it is currently written does not recognize Self Defense as a valid reason for carrying a firearm or any other weapon. Self Defense against bears while you're in the woods, sure, but not against the guy who wants to mug you and rape your wife and daughter. Something seems horribly, horribly out of whack about that."Given the recent conversation here concerning the rights of Canadians to protect themselves, this seemed appropriate: http://www.motifake.com/facebookview.php?id=82006 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
