whats a bigger threat? zombies or ruthless survivors

so, put yourself in zpoc, who is the bigger threat, the walking dead or those who can think. All in all, i can dispatch a zombie, but what about other survivors? Okay, I'm all set for the walking dead, But, i can't cope with those that would rob me for their own survival. What now? what can any of us do to protect ourselves and not become what we fear? Ideas? I say they are both dangerous in their own ways...

But the one main difference is you come up to a Zombie and you KNOW he's your enemy.... You come up to a survivor and you can never be certain...

Zombies at least are always honest about what they want from you.

In my opinion, zombies are most dangerous during the initial outbreak. With a good plan and BOL, encounters should be less often and you should have a large advantage during those encounters.

This is when you need to worry about raiders. You should always assume that any defense or plan you have, they will be able to find a way around it.

The best way to protect yourself and those around you, is to PLAN, PREPARE and EXECUTE. It has been preached many times for good reason. If you have a BOL that is self-sufficient, there will be no need to raid other survivors. When you plan defenses, think of how you would get around it if you were someone on the outside. Now create another barrier or plan to counter that. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

If all else fails, have a secondary BOL ready and beat feet. It's better to retreat and live to fight another day.

Survivors.

Zombies are highly dangerous, but they're easily identified, are openly aggressive, tend not to use any sort of strategy in most theories, and are incapable of using tools beyond some rudimentary stuff.

Survivors will become highly organised and better armed towards the end of the initial period. They can devise strategies, and are capable of creating and using technology.

The biggest thing that makes survivors more dangerous however is about resources. Zombies don't deplete most resources, merely deny access to them. Survivors will actively reduce food stores, ammunition, fuels etc...

I wouldn't consider the undead nearly as dangerous as intelligent people. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
