Sleeping Arrangements for a Bug Out Location

What kind of sleeping arrangements would you set up for your bug out location? Would you put everyone together, or would you seperate the males and females? If you had the option would you have everyone seperated as in dorms? Do you find this valuable?

Why would you enforce separating them like that? What is the point? Do you find this valuable?

To answer, just let them use whatever quarters you have. I don't care if people have relationships, this isn't Zombieland.

Whatever quarters people can fit in. The only ones who should need specialized bunks are people who are very tall or wide and can't easily fit in regular quarters. Do you find this valuable?

This is the best idea ever... If you are the only male.

If it's a sausage fest, it is the worst idea ever.

50/50 chance on the best idea ever, not bad odds.

No kidding, right?

I mean I'm a single guy... so nothing to lose there, but I don't want some pissed off husband trying to fillet me because I happened to have the nap mat next to hers.

Personally families can stay together but the rest get seperated at least early on. Later things would be much less restrictive but early on that's how it'd be. :P Do you find this valuable?

well if its mixed with men and women, the women can sleep with me and the other dudes can spoon lol

seriously, if everyone is seperated then they all might not be alerted to a threat while they sleep. if they are together and one guy gets attacked then it will wake everyone else and he can get help and they wont be slowly picked off

Depends on how they are seperated. If you have them seperated into widespread spaces then yeah it would be a problem but say rooms of 10-20 people would not be too problematic. Assuming you have the space of course.

Let's be honest, with everyone under huge emotional strain... They are gonna reach out for emotional relationships. No one wants to die feeling alone. It doesn't matter if anyone approves or not, seperating them won't help... honestly it would make it worse. People emotionally want what they can't have, tell them they are not allowed to be lovers, and they are going to find a way... period.

I have a friend who is an MP at an Iraqi detainment camp, he tells a story that exemplifies what I'm saying... One of the female guards got pregnant...by a detainee, Through a fence. She couldn't find a place or time without a fence in the way, so she just backed up to it.

Tell someone they can't, and they want to even more...
