Advise please- hip + shoulder pouches for loadout?

I've recently found a few pouches knocking around in my house that have been unused since i got them containing various christmas gifts years ago.
One is about 7"x4", the pouches are elsatic and zip closed and it has a belt strap. The other is slightly bigger, thicker and has a belt + shoulder strap. There's another bigger one with no straps, which i'll use as a new med kit bag.

My question is: for a loadout, what items would be most useful to have in these pouches? What items would I be most likely to need quick acess to that i wouldn't want/have/fit in my pockets? They seem pretty waterproof, but not totally.

Please note that whist i am in the UK, i intend to get a gun licence soon as i'm taking a break from uni,, but will probably be buying seperate ammo pouches/belt.
Any ideas apreciated.
