I reserved one of these nifty little tools today. Check it out, it could be a lifesaver and an alternative to hand cranking dynmo chargers. Do you find this valuable?

Seems pretty expensive for what it is, can get a solar charger or a hand crank light/radiol ots cheaper that will also charge your phone.
Looks like you have to do alot of walking to be able to talk on your phone for more then a few min.
Do you find this valuable?

Yea they are a little pricey. I have the handcrank radio with the usb charger. I'm sure they will go down in price in the future. I bought one tho to try it out and see how well if works, worse comes to worse I can just stick it inside my backpack and let it fill up, doesnt take up that much space. Do you find this valuable?

currently I have a solar AA charger (from an IKEA lamp)on my BOB and am planning on getting a AA to USB charger. It accomplishes the same thing for less with less effort or noise than a dynamo charger. Do you find this valuable?
