I don't know why these guys haven't been mentioned yet, but with very limited exception I always find the best prices at www.luckygunner.com They have a great selection that rotates regularly, so you want to snatch up the deals you see. Do you find this valuable? |

On a lot of the ammo they have, I think Cheaper than Dirt has better deals, especially on bulk ammo. And 20 Federal 30-06 rounds on luckygunner are $5 more than on CTD. Do you find this valuable? |

It's a toss up honestly. cheaper than dirt doesn't carry bulk on a lot of calibers, though and lucky gunner does.

They carry most of the handgun and rifle ammunition bulk that LG does, (check out BVAC reloaded ammo from CTD) and the 5.45, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54R you can get bulk in Russian ammo from CTD.

the prices on these sites arent bad but if you really want good prices on bulk ammo you need to get buddy buddy with the local store owner. that way when he does an ammo order you can get in on it and then you get the ammo at wholesale prices and the shipping wont be as bad because its tacked onto such a large order.

keep in mind, that super cheap russian and chinese ammo burns really dirty. Instead of hi tech flash guards, they mix charcoal in as a filler, and to kill muzzle flash. The ak type weapons are built to :sloppier" tolerances, and can handle the fouling better than american/german guns. It's ok for range work, if you clean your gun right away, but i wouldnt take it into a combat setting. Also, they varnish the cases to waterproof them,,and the varnish builds up in the chamber, leading to failure to extract problems 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
