A fine pistol. If you need a workhorse .357 that will last years, the Ruger is nothing short of a soild investment, that with proper care, should show a good return on your money, should you ever need to sell it. You can bet your life on in the meantime. 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

DSD, have you considered making pages in the weapons review section for these guns instead of threads? I know chit would appreciate it. Do you find this valuable?

I personally don't mind. Threads on my pages don't affect me and I don't get notifications about them, so I never even see these until looking through the discussion board. Do you find this valuable?

Don't know about that...

If you look on Gunbrokers completed auctions you see that most Ruger GP 100 if they sell go for around $350 or so which is a good bit less then what they sold new for I bet.
Lots of guys trying to get $500+ for them but they are being optimistic while they troll for suckers and I don't think many get sold
Not the type of gun to buy as a money investment because I doubt if prices will be going up on them much.....better off buying things like WWII US weapons and old military rifles, some of which have increased in worth an amazzing amount in the past few years.

By most accounts they are good guns that perform great, though personaly I think they look kind of blocky and I don't like the Ruger company....I prefer S&W Revolvers

Oh, sorry, didn't realize that this was connected to a page that had already been created. My mistake. Do you find this valuable?
