Yes, by beloved, I mean the Twinkie. The cream filled pastry, un-opened from the packaging will be good and moist for 20 to 25 years after its been manufactured. Oh, and Honey will virtually last forever if the container is unopened. Not the healthiest, but those both are sure tasty. 1  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Actually, I once tried to keep a Twinkie in a cool, dry environment with the wrapper on for as long as I could, and it started sprouting mold after a month. This means that it was edible for about three weeks before it got bad on the inside.

It's the cream. The cream holds too much moisture and sugar for it NOT to be a bacteria paradise.

Yeah.... no.
And we all know the honey thing.
We appreciate your contribution, but it's already been done.

They have a know shelf life of about twenty five days, actually.

EDIT: Now here's a thought. How long would a twinkie preserved in honey last?

Until about 17 minutes after Justin Bieber becomes this site's idol.

*looks at watch.*
I'd say you've got a while.
