I wonder if these contests will occur again this year?

Because I will be definitely competing next year after may haha.

Oh and, as a site suggestion, when these contests are put out, I'd love to have the homepage mean something(sorry).

I stopped paying attention to it because it never changes, ya know?

The community is what it was.
Not many people very dedicated anymore, not many contests either.
I say we use this year to straighten out the community first.

A-effing MEN!

Im sure that most of the regulars, or at least the ones we know, would be up for the contests... Hell, I might enter the pistol competition if i can convince daddy-o to drive me to a range with the .45 glock...

pretty much people posted results of shooting with x weapon @ x distance.

Was pretty fun i guess.. wasn't around when they did it, me dont think...

i mightve been..

We should do more contests... once we re-organize the community

Yes. I set up a preset of rules - range, type of weapon, shooting position, caliber, so on - and participating members submit a digital photo of their target. The matches run for one to two months, and each participant gets to BS with one another about the results.

Here's the rifle from last year:
http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/ZSDW+Rifle+Match+-+MAR+2010

And we did pistol shoot too:

I'm thinking three categories this year - pistol, tactical carbine, and military surplus. We might run an precision rifle shoot later on this summer - scoped rifles in full calibers only. The minimum I'd consider for full caliber is a cartridge case length of 50mm or longer - so a "full" powder load.

Too early to say on any specifics. I want to get the opinions of a few different folks to see what they think.

Even though I don't own a pistol, I'd say 25 yards for that match.

And may I enter my M38 as a tactical carbine?
