"What is your current home security setup?(Cameras, alarms, barred windows, special doors, etc...)
What upgrades do you plan?
How would it fare against Zombies?"
Complete garbage at the moment... I'm going from owning to renting by the end of the month... if things go right, I'll be building this time next year, and will have a much better answer to this question.

Some rather stupid security "installers" ended up accidentally breaking the locks on our windows, so there's nothing but gravity and some unmaintained tracks to keep them down. Front door has a deadbolt lock and key lock, side door has a simple key lock, back door has a couch in front of it. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Eventually will have some sort of detector. Also extra locks never hurt. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My security is the best, nobody can find my house. Its quite literally in the middle of nowhere. I have locks on my doors but I have never used them honestly. The ten years I have been here people with detailed directions still get lost coming to it. You have to leave the paved road, and take two dirt roads to get to my driveway. Thats security. Well, as you can see my personal security guard (my avie) is pretty terrifying, but if he fails, the cops upstairs are my security.
I figure I'll hear them shooting before anything will be all the way down here to my cave. At that point it's me and a few thousand rounds.

On the road, haven't decided yet. Probably going to pick up another cheap pump and toss that in the truck. Ratchet strap the doors together when I'm in the sleeper.

Solid wood doors, dead bolts, security camera with monitor in living room and den, and the neighbors dog (except it doesn't just bark at people, but always).

Guns, Guns, Guns, Knives, Swords, Machete, Base Ball bats, and Axes. To start!

Second floor apartment with private staircase. That means no first floor windows, single point of entry, and if somebody breaks in while I'm here they have to trudge up a flight of stairs while I take position at the landing and start sending 00 buck their way.

No system installed, but with neighbors always around (several cops and sheriff's deputies) you'd have to be pretty ballsy to try a break in here.

I have a dog who barks, strong windows and doors, several knives and numerous blunt objects.
Luckily because I'm British I can rely on an unarmed policeman to arrive within several hours if I'm lucky...

First floor above ground (saves confusion for the Yanks) apartment. Balcony is 12' off the ground, all windows have storm shutters controlled from the inside.

Door to the apartment has six-point locking into a metal frame.

Pretty good for a rental. :)
